Network Security Engineer

• Participate in network-related projects and perform security operations and optimization activities.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes.
• Serve as the main point of contact for security incidents impacting systems and end users on a day-to-day basis.
• Identify and investigate suspicious or abnormal activities, analyze inconsistencies, and provide security reporting to both management and the technical team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, environment documentation, and end-user documentation.
• Act as a backup Team Lead when required.
• Continuously stay informed about emerging security trends and challenges across areas including End User Workplace (antivirus and hardening), Networking and Firewalling, Cloud Applications, Operational Technology (OT), and Server & Virtualization environments.

• LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless technologies
• IT/OT segmentation
• Application of Zero Trust principles
• Experience working within SOC/NOC environments
• Incident detection, monitoring, and response
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Cisco routing and switching
• Hands-on experience deploying Cisco ISE, SDA, and Cisco Catalyst solutions
• Azure Cloud Networking & Security
• Server and virtualization technologies
• Vulnerability Management: detection, prioritization, remediation, and patching
• Risk Management: identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks
• Knowledge of NIS2 is considered an advantage

Our organization currently supports more than 1,350 users across over 30 locations on four continents. Depending on the site, both office and production network environments are in place. The team’s objective is to ensure that all users can consistently rely on a secure, high-performing, and resilient network infrastructure.

The primary focus of the team is networking and cybersecurity. We are seeking a professional who can leverage their experience to implement the appropriate security layers across network, server, and cloud environments, while also contributing to monitoring, maintenance, and future expansion initiatives.
