Automotive Technical Support Specialist

Randstad is looking for an Automotive Technical Support Specialist to work with an expanding transmission company on Jacksonville’s Southside. You will need ASE certification and a minimum of 3 years of related transmission repair experience. You will work the warranty and repair teams to best service the customer’s needs. Pay is based upon experience.

salary: $20 - $30 per hour shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone with technical support and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose automotive and drivetrain concerns using customer-provided information.
• Provide accurate repair recommendations and technical guidance.
• Work closely with customers while keeping our companies’ best interests in mind.
• Be part of a team dedicated to providing outstanding customer support.
• ASE Certification / 3+ years of automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 3 hours at one time
