Are you an experienced IT professional who enjoys being the go-to technical resource and making a direct impact on business operations? We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on support for key facilities in North Carolina while helping drive IT initiatives across the Southeast region. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a highly visible role, enjoys solving a wide variety of technical challenges, and wants the chance to grow into broader regional support responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Do
As the primary on-site IT support resource, you’ll be responsible for supporting end users, infrastructure, and technology initiatives in a manufacturing and corporate environment. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs. Responsibilities include:
- Providing hands-on support for desktop, hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Managing and supporting Windows environments, Active Directory, and server infrastructure
- Troubleshooting everything from printer and workstation issues to more complex infrastructure challenges
- Assisting with device imaging, user account management, and ticket resolution within defined SLAs
- Partnering with site leadership to understand business needs and communicate requirements to project and technical teams
- Supporting IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts
- Serving as a trusted IT resource for multiple facilities across the region
Requirements
- Experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support
- Strong knowledge of:
- Active Directory
- Windows 11
- Server management and administration
- Hardware troubleshooting and end-user support
- Device imaging and ticket management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a wide range of technical issues
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments is highly preferred
- Exposure to AS400 systems or coding/programming concepts is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

- Stable Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM), Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
