Software Engineering Project Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you lead the technical direction and execution of the next-gen Laser Scan program within KLA’s LS-SWIFT division. You collaborate with internal teams and customers to define subsystems, integrate solutions, and ensure performance and production quality. You’ll drive cross-functional programs, manage risk, and communicate clearly to stakeholders, shaping defect-detection capabilities for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. This is a chance to influence advanced wafer inspection technology at a global scale. Compensation / Benefits * Lead technical project management for next-generation Laser Scan programs * Collaborate with customers to define products and subsystems * Coordinate with high-performing engineering teams to develop customer-centric solutions * Integrate subsystems and evaluate against use cases * Deliver solutions meeting performance specs and production quality * Manage projects using PLC processes and best practices across all phases * Create high-confidence project schedules with dependencies and critical path * Identify risks, plan mitigations, and re-plan as needed * Provide clear, timely communication and stakeholder updates * Strengthen team relationships, lead through ambiguity and change * Proactively identify issues and marshal resources to resolve them Tasks * Excellent project management skills with multi-stream oversight * Strong leadership: coaching, team-building, conflict resolution * Demonstrated software experience in developing complex products * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities * Understanding of image processing, deep learning, data pipelines, ML, control and calibrations (a plus) * Programming proficiency and ability to read code * Familiarity with Agile and SDLC R&D processes * Experience working with engineering vendors (a plus) * MS Project proficiency; IBM RTC experience helpful * Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and influence * Ability to draft and present deliverables and strategies * Superior facilitation, interviewing, and stakeholder management * Experience in semiconductor fab operations or product development programs (a plus) * Experience managing programs within KLA (a plus) * Business acumen and strategic agility with technical cognizance * Ability to operate independently and handle complex objectives Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * life * 401(k) with company matching * employee stock purchase program (ESPP)
