Sr Software Engineer (C++, AI/ML, OOP, Linux)

Experteer Overview In this role you build cutting-edge C++ software for next-gen mask inspection systems and contribute to AI-enabled tooling. You work with cross-functional experts to tackle high-impact engineering challenges and help ensure tool availability through data analytics and machine control development. You’ll design and integrate AI capabilities and collaborate across hardware, software, and algorithm teams. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop inspection machine control software and data analytics for mask inspection systems * Integrate AI capabilities into production tools and evaluate model training/inference flows * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements * Optimize and maintain existing codebases for performance, scalability, and reliability * Provide support during integration/test and handle escalations from customer sites Tasks * Proven experience in C++ programming and object-oriented design * Strong background in data analysis and debugging in multi-process, multi-threaded apps * Experience with Linux-based development environments * RPC/REST interface definitions experience is a plus * Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, Prometheus) and Observability tools (Grafana) * Familiarity with frontend tool stacks (Qt or Vue/React/Angular) * Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Singularity) and Kubernetes is a plus * Doctorate + 0 years, or Master + 3 years, or Bachelor + 5 years of related experience Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * 401(K) with company matching * employee stock purchase program (ESPP) * tuition reimbursement
