Job description

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Engineer for a local client. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet rigorous performance and reliability standards, with a strong focus on medical applications. In this role, you will leverage full-stack development principles and apply your expertise in medical image processing and visualization to build scalable and robust systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product owners, designers, systems engineers, and fellow developers, to deliver intuitive and high-impact user experiences. You will actively contribute to Agile development processes, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. Your responsibilities will also include designing and maintaining UI and rendering components for complex applications, working to decouple UI layers from underlying graphics and rendering code to enhance modularity and maintainability, and implementing optimized rendering solutions using modern graphics APIs. Additionally, you will engage in technical design discussions, ensure code quality and correctness, and troubleshoot as well as resolve UI, rendering, and performance issues within production environments.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in a compiled language such as C++, and experience developing production software in Python is preferred.
  • CUDA and Vulkan
  • OpenGL
