Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to embedded controller and SoC projects within Microchip’s ASIC design team. You will design, simulate, and verify processor-based products used in tablets, notebooks and embedded systems, while engaging in pre-silicon FPGA emulation and test vector generation. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment that values growth, collaboration, and continuous learning. This is a chance to shape high-impact semiconductor technology at a global scale. Compensation / Benefits * Design, simulate, and synthesize processor-based products within SoC methodologies * Achieve timing closure and validate via pre-silicon FPGA emulation * Generate test vectors and verify functionality across embedded systems * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive mentorship within a seasoned design group Tasks * MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering * coursework in Microelectronic Devices and Circuits; Semiconductor Devices; Analog and Digital ICs; Digital Signal Processing; Low power VLSI; Verilog/SystemVerilog; VHDL * Programming in C, Python, Perl, TCL * Self-starter and team player * Willingness to learn new skills and technologies * Good verbal and written communication * Legal right to work in the United States * Travel 0-25% Key requirements * health benefits from day one * retirement savings plans * restricted stock units * quarterly bonus payments * industry-leading ESPP with 2 year look back
