Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will drive core network and wireless initiatives to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity for multiple sites. You will work within a cross-functional team to optimize Cisco wireless, SD-WAN, and campus networking, aligning with the company’s transformation goals. You’ll tackle incidents, implement improvements, and contribute to telemetry and runbooks for steady operation. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on impact across large site footprints and a focus on reliability and performance. Compensation / Benefits * Manage Cisco wireless (9800 controller and AP fleet), Catalyst Center, wireless security, RF design, and client troubleshooting. * Oversee Cisco SD-WAN across 670+ sites: onboarding, policy/segmentation, branch turn-up, on-call support. * Contribute to core networking tasks: campus LAN, routing, ISE, DNS/DHCP, and Ivanti change/CMDB discipline. * Drive 90/180/270/360 day milestones for health baselines, WiFi stability, telemetry, and runbooks. Tasks * Proven network engineering experience with Cisco routers and switches * Experience with WAN and SD-WAN technologies * Familiarity with ISE, DNS/DHCP, and change/CMDB processes (Ivanti) * CCNA and/or CCNP certifications * Wireless experience with Cisco 9800 controllers and APs * Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) retirement plan * Life Insurance * Disability (short/long-term) * HSA * Transportation benefits
