APTM Yield Analysis Senior Engineer / Team Leader

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead yield and defect improvement efforts across Intel’s advanced packaging portfolio. You’ll analyze large data sets from manufacturing and test to identify yield-limiting trends and drive cross-functional actions. You will shape roadmaps, mentor engineers, and partner with engineering, Quality & Reliability, and Product teams to enable successful ramp to high-volume manufacturing. This position offers technical depth in packaging technology and meaningful impact on product quality and yield performance. Compensation / Benefits * Extract insights from structured and unstructured datasets using statistics, ML, and data mining * Analyze large volumes of manufacturing, test, and defect data to identify yield drivers * Develop solutions using process knowledge and structured problem-solving techniques * Drive yield improvement roadmaps across technology development and manufacturing * Relate electrical failures to physical defects via FIFA, DFT, sort and test, and process integration * Evaluate inline defect metrology effectiveness and defect monitoring systems * Collaborate with Process Engineering, Q&R, Product Engineering, and Test Development teams * Prepare and present technical reports on yield performance and defect trends * Define and drive corrective actions to achieve world-class yield * Lead and mentor small teams and travel as required Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s with 6+ years, OR PhD with 4+ years * 5+ years of data analysis experience using JMP, Python, or similar tools * Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing or advanced packaging * Experience applying statistical analysis to manufacturing or yield problems * Experience with data visualization and large datasets * Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Key requirements * competitive pay * stock bonuses * health benefits * retirement plan * vacation
