APTM Yield Analysis Senior Engineer / Team Leader

Experteer Overview In this role you drive yield and defect improvements across Intel’s advanced packaging portfolio. You will lead data-driven investigations using large datasets, inline metrology, and cross-functional teams to reduce yield loss and improve manufacturing and test methods. You’ll influence technical roadmaps, set team priorities, and tackle complex yield challenges to enable scalable ramp to high-volume manufacturing. This position offers deep technical specialization in advanced packaging and measurable manufacturing impact. Compensation / Benefits * Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using statistics, ML, and data mining * Analyze large volumes of manufacturing, test, and defect data to identify yield-impacting trends * Develop and implement process- and data-driven solutions for yield improvement * Drive recommendations and shape yield improvement roadmaps across development and manufacturing * Evaluate inline defect metrology performance and defect monitoring systems * Collaborate with Process Engineering, Integration, Q&R, Product Engineering, and Test Development teams to resolve yield and defect challenges * Prepare and present technical reports on yield, defect trends, and device health metrics * Define and drive corrective actions to achieve world-class yield performance * Lead technology development, transfer, and ramp-to-HVM with cross-functional stakeholders * Lead and mentor small teams of engineers; travel domestically and internationally as required Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years * Experience in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, or related field * 5+ years of data analysis experience using JMP, Python, or similar tools Key requirements * competitive pay * stock bonuses * health benefits * retirement plans * vacation * family/pamily support programs
