Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position provides project management leadership for infrastructure, operational, and safety-related technology initiatives across the district. The Project Manager coordinates efforts between Technology, Operations, and Campus Police to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with district priorities., 1. Lead planning and execution of infrastructure, operational, and technology related projects.

  1. Coordinate efforts between Technology, Operations, and Campus Police for projects involving safety systems and facilities.

  2. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports to ensure timely delivery.

  3. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure alignment across departments and stakeholders.

  4. Track project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  5. Coordinate vendor activities and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.

  6. Support implementation of systems such as cameras, access control, network infrastructure, and device deployments.

  7. Ensure documentation, communication, and follow-up for all project activities.

  8. Assist in improving operational processes and service delivery across departments.
  9. Requirements

Educational Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field OR Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Preferred: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage projects from initiation through completion
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in K-12 or public sector environments
  • Experience with infrastructure, network, device deployment, or operational projects
  • Experience working with safety systems (cameras, access control, emergency communication systems)
  • PMP or equivalent certification, * Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage projects from initiation through completion
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, [X] Heavy lifting of up to _50__ pounds
