Job description
Experteer Overview As a Data Scientist on the Operations Data Science & AI team, you help optimize field operations through models and automated workflows. Youâll work with senior data scientists and operations stakeholders to improve capacity planning, routing, scheduling, and resource allocation. You will build forecasting and anomaly-detection models, maintain data pipelines, and develop decision-support tools that translate analysis into actionable guidance. This role offers the chance to shape operational decisions at scale within a data-driven culture. Compensation / Benefits * Develop optimization solutions for capacity planning, routing, scheduling, and resource allocation * Formulate business problems with decision variables, objectives, and constraints * Assist in root-cause analysis to surface optimization opportunities * Develop forecasting, regression, classification, and anomaly-detection models * Prepare data, engineer features, and evaluate model results * Build reproducible data pipelines and automate analyses, model runs, and reporting * Maintain Snowflake data models and contribute to shared tooling and standards * Create dashboards and decision-support tools for actionable results * Document methodology and assumptions; communicate findings to team and stakeholders Tasks * Hands-on experience formulating and solving mixed-integer linear programming models * Experience with optimization libraries (Gurobi, Pyomo, OR-Tools, PuLP, CPLEX) * Strong SQL on a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred) and Python for analysis * Experience building, testing, and validating forecasting, regression, classification, or other predictive models * Experience building reproducible data pipelines and automating workflows * Ability to communicate results with clear visualizations and practical decision-support tools * Ability to turn loosely defined problems into clear analytical questions and solutions * 5+ years of applied data science, machine learning, or quantitative analytics experience * Bachelorâs degree in a quantitative field; masterâs preferred * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS Key requirements *
