Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of full lifecycle systems activities - defining requirements, integrating subsystems, validating performance, and ensuring robust delivery. You’ll work alongside multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to both technical excellence and project outcomes, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence design decisions.

• Proven experience in systems design, integration and testing across multi-technology environments
• A strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, from concept to in-service support
• Broad technical awareness across software, mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with internal teams and customers
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• UK driving licence and eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance, * Exposure to Radar, Radio, or Navigation Systems
• Knowledge of Defence or Maritime platforms
• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, CANBus)
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters or spectrum analysers
• Understanding of verification standards (MIL-STD, Def Stan, IEC)
