Job description

Provide Tier II support for enterprise voice, telecommunications, and collaboration environments. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex voice, network, and endpoint incident. Own incidents through resolution while collaborating with Service Desk, Network Engineering, Telecom teams, vendors, and business users. Project background: This role has been critical to supporting the diverse and challenging needs of supporting Avaya phone provisioning and deployment across the Enterprise. Position is responsible for gathering requirements and provisioning of phones in support of various projects. Day to day responsibilities: Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or period of degraded system performance. Coordinate resources for assigned capital projects and plan for future upgrades of existing technology. Work closely with customers to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality voice solutions. Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support voice software solutions that are delivered on time.

Requirements

Skills: 3-5 years Avaya administration, implementation, and support - prefer enterprise experience Personal Traits: Clear communicator, outgoing personality, neatness, organized, self-motivator, multi-tasker Top 5 Must Haves: - Communication Skills - Verbal & Written - Good Appearance - Avaya Experience - Project & Customer Support oriented These roles require hands-on and face-to-face interactions with users and their devices.
