Managing Director, Enterprise Platforms

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead BDO’s core enterprise platforms (Oracle Cloud ERP, OneStream, ServiceNow, Agiloft, and Microsoft Dynamics) as managed business services. You’ll establish a unified product-management operating model, drive platform stability and adoption, and guide strategic roadmaps in partnership with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Growth, Marketing, and Sales. You will manage senior platform leaders, shape governance and upgrade strategies, and deliver scalable onboarding playbooks for M&A. This is a hands-on leadership role with enterprise impact and a clear path to maturity across the platform portfolio. Compensation / Benefits * Lead strategic direction and governance for five core enterprise platforms as managed services * Establish a standardized product-management operating model across platforms (ownership, backlog, release planning, adoption metrics) * Oversee Oracle Cloud ERP delivery with executive governance to stabilize and optimize the platform * Own platform strategy for OneStream, ServiceNow, Agiloft, and Dynamics 365 in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders * Set configuration governance, change control, and release standards to preserve upgradability * Monitor platform health, incidents, and driving continuous improvement * Measure adoption and user satisfaction, leading improvement plans based on metrics * Ensure least-privilege access and RBAC alignment across platforms * Manage vendor relationships, license optimization, and financial performance with IT FinOps * Develop repeatable M&A onboarding playbooks to accelerate integration and consistency * Partner with EA, CISO, and IT Operations to ensure compliance and alignment with enterprise standards * Provide executive reporting and build platform team capabilities for roadmap delivery Tasks * Fifteen (15)+ years in IT delivering or optimizing enterprise platforms * Ten (10)+ years in senior leadership running enterprise platform organizations at scale * Five (5)+ years of people leadership, coaching, and performance management * Direct leadership experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and financial systems in a complex enterprise * Experience operating SaaS platforms with configuration governance, release cadences, and adoption metrics * Experience leading M&A platform integration and onboarding playbooks * Experience establishing product-management operating models across a portfolio of enterprise SaaS platforms * Experience managing vendor relationships and license portfolios with major SaaS providers (Oracle, ServiceNow, Microsoft or comparable) * ServiceNow platform ownership experience (preferred) * Experience in professional services or Big 4 environments (preferred) * Experience supporting audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements at platform level (preferred) Key requirements * ESOP * Total Rewards benefits * opportunities for career growth * ownership mindset * global, client-facing work
