Job description
We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes (AKS) Engineer with strong expertise in containerization, Kubernetes administration, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments within complex enterprise networking architectures. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, performance, and automation of AKS clusters and supporting microservices-based applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in enterprise environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters across complex networking and infrastructure layers.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and security of AKS environments.
- Implement and maintain containerization and Kubernetes-based solutions for microservices applications.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes architecture, objects, and core primitives.
- Analyze and troubleshoot traffic management, networking, routing, ingress, and service connectivity issues.
- Work with complex Azure networking components and ensure seamless connectivity across AKS environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management for Kubernetes and AKS platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, cluster management, and operational processes.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications and Kubernetes deployments.
- Implement Kubernetes and Azure best practices related to security, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with containerization technologies and Kubernetes management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, objects, and core primitives.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, ingress, services, deployments, pods, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and storage.
- Strong traffic management and network troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing AKS clusters across complex networking environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing production-grade AKS clusters.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in large-scale distributed and microservices environments.
