Application Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations for ETO orders and quotes, driving timely delivery and technical support for customers and channel partners. You’ll develop the vacuum expertise within the team, implement standard work to simplify processes, and push to reduce quote time by 50%. You will coach and develop a high-performing team, uphold safety standards, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet sales and service goals. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on continuous improvement and impact across the vacuum product area. Compensation / Benefits * Manage day-to-day ETO orders and quotes delivery * Provide ETO technical support to customers and channel partners * Drive team development and KPI achievement * Develop vacuum expertise within the department and personally * Prepare ETO vacuum quotations and enter vacuum orders * Develop and implement standard work to reduce order complexity * Implement process to cut time to quote by 50% * Cross-train team on all ETO products * Oversee performance evaluations, mentorship, and succession planning * Ensure safety standards and department compliance * Other duties as assigned by Mechanical Engineering Manager Tasks * Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering * Minimum 2 years in a sales/process engineering role * Ability to maintain product/service/customer knowledge * Strong internal/external relationship skills * Experience leading and mentoring a professional team * Proficient communication skills (written and spoken) * Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to multi-task and prioritize high workload * Demonstrated technical know-how, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude Key requirements * Medicla * Dental * Vision and other benefits
