Experteer Overview In this Principal (Level 3) role, you will advance space systems programs from concept to readiness, solving complex feasibility and design challenges. You will work within the Space Sector to support milestones, develop technical content, and translate requirements into clear deliverables for stakeholders. You’ll model mission-level elements, assess day-in-the-life scenarios, and produce analyses and tools that inform design and operations. This position offers hands-on impact in a mission-driven environment, with opportunities to lead cross-disciplinary teams and influence space system architecture and testing. You will be part of a culture that prizes bold ideas, collaboration, and the “p Compensation / Benefits * Support major program milestones and readiness reviews with technical content and stakeholder-ready presentations * Author and contribute to program data products and other key deliverables * Collaborate with mission partners to accurately model mission-level elements * Assess vehicle day-in-the-life and create design reference missions (DRMs) * Perform analyses (propellant budgets, on-orbit fuel requirements, RF link budgets, mission lifetime) and develop analysis tools as needed * Handle Requirements Management, decomposing requirements from Mission to Subsystems * Develop Interface Control Documentation and manage interfaces Tasks * Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application * Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience or Master’s with 3 years or PhD with 1 year * Experience in systems engineering including architectural studies, technical baseline definition, requirements & interface management, hardware/software integration, and mission planning & execution * Experience working with a cross-discipline engineering team Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * paid holidays * paid time off (PTO)
