Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you drive the design and execution of rigorous testing for Flight and Ground software across all-digital and hardware-in-the-loop environments. You lead verification efforts, mentor engineers, and shape the testing strategy within the Aerospace Software Engineering Group. You collaborate with flight, ground, and GNC teams to ensure software readiness for launch vehicles and facilities. You’ll push continuous improvement of testing processes and contribute to the team’s strategic direction. Compensation / Benefits * Design and architect complex test procedures for digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulations * Develop robust test automation frameworks and report-generation pipelines * Lead automated testing pipelines for daily software commits and act as senior reviewer for merge/pull requests * Implement comprehensive unit test strategies * Ensure test requirements compliance and guide implementation * Create maintainable requirements, designs, and schedules with scalability in mind * Communicate milestones, assess risks, and propose mitigations * Champion software engineering processes and drive improvement initiatives Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) * 5 to 8+ years in formal software testing * Proven leadership in software testing with successful project delivery * Strong C/C++ and Python expertise with mentoring ability * Extensive Linux development experience * Deep knowledge of Agile software development and leading practices * Proficiency with Git and advanced workflows * Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines * Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives Key requirements * health, dental and vision plans with low deductibles * parental leave * educational reimbursement * short term disability * flexible PTO
