Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to System Security Engineering across the full acquisition and development lifecycle for defense systems. You will shape protection, risk management, and counterfeit prevention within a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external partners to implement secure architectures and RMF-compliant processes. Compensation / Benefits * Support Program Protection activities * Develop/update SCRM and Counterfeit Prevention Plans * Perform supply chain risk assessments and recommend mitigations * Develop/refine Hardware/Software Bill of Materials and perform Criticality Analysis * Monitor supply chain changes and review vulnerability/mitigation reports * Audit suppliers and support security inquiries * Apply SSE methodologies and prepare technical documentation * Support ongoing authorization efforts and agile cybersecurity activities * Interface with management and stakeholders as a technical liaison * Perform other SSE duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 2+ years relevant military or professional experience (Engineer level) * Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 5+ years relevant experience or Master’s with specific experience (Principal level) * Active US Government Secret clearance or higher (or ability to obtain) * Ability to obtain SAP clearance in a timely manner * DODD 8140.01 qualifying certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) * Experience with System Security Engineering activities (security requirements engineering, risk assessment, secure architecture) Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * bonus opportunities
