Head of Information Technology (payroll)

As IT Infrastructure Manager/Head of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure landscape, managing a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the successful execution of operational and strategic priorities aligned with the company’s IT roadmap.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, infrastructure governance, project coordination, cybersecurity oversight, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 7 IT professionals.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Organize team meetings, monitor action plans, and promote constructive feedback.
• Support professional development and the adoption of best practices.

Operational Management & Service Delivery

• Plan, organize, and prioritize the team’s activities across projects, support, maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.
• Manage team workload and capacity planning.
• Ensure operational excellence, service continuity, and compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
• Monitor performance and drive operational efficiency.

IT Infrastructure Management

• Take ownership of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of systems and platforms.
• Contribute to technology decisions and infrastructure evolution.
• Lead and support change management initiatives.

Technical Governance & Architecture

• Lead or contribute to cross-functional IT projects.
• Challenge and validate technical architecture decisions.
• Promote IT standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a key liaison between IT leadership and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate clear communication across teams and departments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational optimization.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage IT procurement activities and supplier relationships.
• Prepare technical specifications and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Coordinate purchasing processes, orders, and invoice approvals.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a people management role.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure operations and project delivery.
• Good knowledge of ITIL / ITSM principles.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and technologies such as GRC, SIEM, PAM, and EDR.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven with excellent organizational abilities.
• Fluent in French and comfortable working in English.
