SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant - Hybrid Growth

Your role

As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant at adesso, you will work on projects in which organizations modernize their financial processes and migrate to SAP S/4HANA. You will help clients improve and digitize processes such as financial accounting, controlling, reporting, and financial closing (Record-to-Report).

Many of these projects are part of broader SAP transformations in which organizations are transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. In this context, SAP is increasingly being combined with modern data and analytics platforms. For example, SAP data is integrated with platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks to enable better financial insights, forecasting, and advanced analytics.

You will collaborate with SAP consultants, solution architects, and data engineers on solutions that both improve financial processes and support data-driven decision-making.

Your tasks

• Analyzing and improving financial processes such as Record-to-Report, financial closing, and controlling
• Implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions
• Translating business requirements into functional SAP solutions
• Supporting migrations from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Working with S/4HANA Finance functionalities such as Universal Journal, Central Finance, and Group Reporting
• Contributing to integrations with other systems and data platforms via the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Collaborating with data and analytics teams to make better use of financial data
• Guiding users during testing phases and go-live

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP Finance (FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance)
• Experience with SAP implementation, migration, or transformation projects
• Understanding of financial processes such as accounting, controlling, reporting, and closing
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, or Group Reporting is a strong plus
• Interest in data, analytics, or modern SAP architectures
• Strong communication skills in Dutch/French and English
