Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting end users, and contributing to the development of business systems. Alongside day-to-day support responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work on software enhancements, reporting, and wider IT improvement projects., * Provide technical support to users across the business

Configure new users, devices, and system access
Resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Perform administration of PCs, servers, and infrastructure
Assist with system upgrades and improvement projects
Create and maintain technical documentation
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
Support reporting and data extraction using SQL
Contribute to software development and system enhancements
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements

Requirements

Essential

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Good written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows 10/11/Server

Desirable

Networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, wireless and firewalls
VMware and virtualisation experience
C#, .NET, ASP WebForms or WinForms experience
SQL Server and reporting knowledge
Experience using ticketing systems
