Job description

We are looking for a Data Collection Specialist to support a state government division responsible for criminal and offender registration records., * Research and collect court and criminal history documents.

  • Review and interpret court records and legal information.
  • Enter accurate information into government databases and web portals.
  • Communicate with courts and local/state law enforcement agencies.
  • Research and resolve missing or conflicting information.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive criminal justice information.
  • Maintain accurate records while managing multiple assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience with data collection, data entry, or research.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with criminal history records and court documents is preferred., Preferred Experience: Triple I records, probable cause affidavits, conviction/sentencing documents, presentence investigation reports, court orders, criminal justice systems, or law enforcement records.
