Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will apply systems engineering to support Navy programs within the Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems. You will work with a high-performing, collaborative team to ensure timely acquisition, technical reviews, and resource alignment. You will contribute to radar and combat systems integration efforts and develop SE documents that guide program decisions. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and represent the program’s Working Group Leads to apply rigorous Systems Engineering processes across the program * Provide technical expertise in radar and/or combat systems integration during interchanges and working groups * Conduct technical studies and develop systems engineering documentation as directed by program leadership * Support major acquisition reviews and produce required acquisition documentation * Manage program needs, external requirements, and ensure resources are aligned to priorities * Contribute to radar development and integration tasks and associated documentation * Adapt to a hybrid work environment with primary work from 20 M St SE DC * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet critical milestones Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM * 15+ years of DoD systems engineering experience * Proven experience with Navy surface radar, Electronic Warfare, and/or combat systems design and certification processes * DoD Secret clearance (ability to maintain) Key requirements * health insurance * flexible spending accounts * health savings accounts * retirement savings plans * life and disability insurance * paid time away and other programs
