Space Flight Operations - Engineer/Principal Engineer Systems (AHT)

Experteer Overview In this role you will support on-orbit operations and maintenance for a Space RADAR satellite constellation, monitoring telemetry and helping optimize performance. You will work with cross-functional teams in the Space Systems division to test and validate payloads, develop tooling, and troubleshoot anomalies. The position offers mission-critical impact in space operations and system-level analysis, with opportunities to contribute to the lifecycle from design to on-orbit support. A Top Secret clearance and willingness to work shifts enable participation in secure, high-impact missions. Compensation / Benefits * Monitor, trend, and analyze satellite and payload telemetry during operations shifts * Test on-orbit payloads and lab assets (engineering development units and simulators) * Develop/analyze payload data through coding/scripts for debug and performance evaluation * Develop/improve/operate custom software tools for trending, testing, analysis, and workflow * Assist with discrepancy reporting adjudication and anomaly resolution Tasks * BS in STEM with 2 years of aerospace/defense development or test experience or MS with applicable experience * Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI access * Coding skills in MATLAB and/or Python * Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends Key requirements * health insurance coverage * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business
