Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using the Appian platform.
- Enhance an existing Appian solution and implement new functionality based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and web services.
- Configure Appian process models, interfaces, records, reports, and business rules.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint activities.
- Perform unit testing and support system and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues.
- Document technical solutions and follow development best practices.
- Support application deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience with the following:
- Hands-on experience with Appian custom development and process automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining API integrations, including REST services.
- Experience performing unit testing and supporting quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment., * Appian Certified Developer, Senior Developer, or Lead Developer certification.
- Experience developing enterprise workflow and business process automation solutions.
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience supporting federal government programs.

- W2 Hourly rate starts at $60. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, and location, and are subject to change at any time.

About the company
The Squires Group is seeking two Senior Appian Developers to support the enhancement and completion of an existing Appian-based business process automation solution. Candidates will be responsible for custom application development, API integrations, testing, and implementing new requirements while collaborating closely with functional and technical teams in an Agile environment.
