Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will shape and maintain system architectures to enable sophisticated Mission Planning capabilities within a collaborative, MBSE-focused team. You will work across multidisciplinary engineering groups to ensure accurate models, traceability, and reuse of architectural best practices. The position offers exposure to defence technology and a path to influence complex weapon system programmes. You will drive design reviews and contribute to architecture governance in a security-conscious environment. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop system designs using MBSE * Produce and review architecture models and technical artefacts * Support engineering milestones and design reviews * Ensure models stay accurate, coherent and drive development * Maintain traceability across the Weapon Systems programme * Promote architectural best practice, standardisation and reuse across product lines * Work in a collaborative engineering environment to solve complex technical challenges Tasks * Experience in systems architecture and MBSE * Knowledge of Rhapsody or similar modelling tool * SysML and systems architecture principles * DOORS Next Generation or equivalent requirements management tools * Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) or similar configuration management tools * Experience across complex engineering programmes * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Excellent communication across multidisciplinary teams * Beneficial: experience in Mission Planning or defence systems (not essential) Key requirements * Flexible and hybrid working arrangements * Up to 14% combined pension contribution * Healthcare Cash Plan * Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave * On-site facilities including subsidised meals and free parking
