Solution Architect - Individual Markets

Experteer Overview As a Solution Architect, you will own and shape technical solutions at the value-stream level, ensuring architectural alignment, security, and scalability. You will work closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and delivery teams to translate business needs into sound technology solutions within a federated Enterprise Architecture model. You’ll help design, document, and guide delivery of end-to-end architectures, reusing enterprise capabilities where possible. This role blends hands-on design with coaching, shaping patterns, and mitigating risks to enable faster, reliable delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Own product- and team-level solution design and delivery architecture * Collaborate with Principal Solution Architect, Head of Portfolio Architecture, and Principal Enterprise Architect on patterns and priorities * Design and document architectures including application, integration, data, and infrastructure components * Align roadmaps and MVP scope with Product Owners and Tech Leads; assess technical trade-offs * Ensure solutions comply with Guardian standards, security requirements, and design patterns * Reuse enterprise capabilities via Enterprise Architecture and platform teams * Identify and resolve technical dependencies and impediments * Provide hands-on guidance on design quality, code structure, and technical approaches * Lead PoCs for new business capabilities and influence technology strategy and standards * Mentor engineers on architecture principles and problem-solving * Seek simplifications, reduce technical debt, and improve delivery efficiency * Build scalable solutions aligned with business and technology needs * Be available for production incidents with major business impact Tasks * Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions * Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, and modern application architectures * Experience in Agile/product-based delivery models * Experience designing hybrid on-premise and public cloud architectures and understanding cloud provider services * Proven track record architecting large-scale, mission-critical systems in Insurance domain * Good understanding of GenAI frameworks, tools and best practices * Ability to balance speed, quality, risk, and sustainability in technical decisions * Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for stakeholders * Experience producing product- and team-level technical design documentation Key requirements *
