Experteer Overview In this role you will act as a Systems Engineer for the Space Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, contributing to satellite ground systems within an Agile, MBSE-driven environment. You’ll define requirements, interfaces and verification activities, guiding software-hardware integration across cross-functional teams. You will drive features for mission-focused software, deliver demos to customers, and continuously refine the product roadmap based on feedback. This position offers impact on national space capabilities and opportunities to work with cutting-edge space-domain engineering. Compensation / Benefits * Drive development and execution of features for satellite ground systems * Participate in working groups and translate customer needs into digital artifacts * Lead verification planning and development of test requirements * Oversee SE artifacts across requirements, interfaces, architecture, design, and test * Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews aligned with product vision * Provide SME in Space-Vehicle Command and Control System areas * Demonstrate and brief customers and senior leadership * Ensure integration of capabilities with ground satellite software solutions * Utilize Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence) for project management * Support milestones and Agile product increments * Engage with multiple working groups and control boards * Tailor responsibilities based on skillset and experience Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 14+ years of engineering experience OR Master’s in STEM with 12+ years OR PhD in STEM with 10+ years * Active SCI clearance or Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain SCI * 2+ years MBSE experience and tooling (No Magic Cameo) * 2+ years experience with Space-vehicle, command-and-control, mission management or related subsystems * 2+ years SE processes and artifacts development for SW including use cases, interfaces, diagrams, schemas, REST/HTTP * Experience working on Agile programs and methodology * Strong written and oral communication skills * Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Flexible Schedules
