Experteer Overview In this role you will join the Space Systems Sector as a Systems Engineer - Level 2 working with a scrum team to define product vision, manage backlog, and deliver mission-focused software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align features with business objectives and incorporate user feedback to refine roadmaps. The work is paced in an Agile environment using Atlassian tools, emphasizing MBSE and space-domain expertise. You will shape ground segment functions and drive verification and integration from design to operations. This role offers meaningful impact on space missions and system-level innovation. Compensation / Benefits * Drive development and execution of features for satellite ground systems with MBSE model familiarity * Translate customer needs into digital artifacts to enable software implementation * Develop and verify verification planning, requirements, and test artifacts * Support a broad set of SE disciplines: requirements, interfaces, architecture, design, integration, test, and sign-off * Participate in sprint activities while aligning with product vision and mission goals * Provide SME in Space-Vehicle Command and Control and collaborate with subsystems teams * Conduct customer and leadership demos and briefings * Ensure integration of capabilities with ground satellite software systems * Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for project tracking and knowledge sharing * Support milestones and Agile product increments; engage with multiple working groups Tasks * Bachelor in STEM with 2+ years of engineering experience or Master in STEM * Active SCI clearance at application/start or active Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI * Experience with MBSE, CAMEO, SysML, requirements and verification * Experience in space-vehicle, command & control, mission management, data processing, or software subsystems * Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently in a dynamic environment * Experience with SE processes and artifacts for SW development (use cases, interface control docs, diagrams, schemas, REST/HTTP/etc.) * Experience with Agile programs and Jira/Confluence Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Flexible Schedules
