Experteer Overview As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will own Azure engineering efforts, focusing on building, automating, and expanding cloud capabilities for a rapidly growing healthcare organization. You’ll collaborate with architects to translate designs into deployed, scalable Azure environments and IaC-driven deployments, shaping the cloud strategy. This remote, 6-month contract-to-hire role offers autonomy, potential to grow into an Azure SME, and a chance to impact cloud modernization at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Own Azure engineering work previously handled by architecture * Develop and deploy automated Azure infrastructure and IaC * Design and configure Azure IaaS/PaaS environments * Collaborate with Cloud/Infrastructure Architects to translate designs into deployed environments * Support cloud security, governance, and hybrid integration * Troubleshoot Azure/Windows/Identity/Networking issues and perform root cause analysis * Drive multiple infrastructure initiatives with minimal supervision * Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions Tasks * 3+ years hands-on infrastructure/cloud engineering experience * Azure IaaS/PaaS design, deployment, configuration, administration * PowerShell automation for infrastructure automation and configuration management * Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform * Azure networking-VNets, subnets, routing, connectivity, security * Hybrid MS infrastructure integration with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, identity services * Cloud security/governance implementation aligned to security controls * Technical ownership and ability to prioritize deliverables independently * Cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders Key requirements * discretionary bonuses * medical, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) retirement plan * remote work
