Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help design, implement, and optimize high-quality software and embedded solutions across Linux, Windows, and device platforms. You will lead efforts on low-latency network tech, wireless interfaces (BLE, NFC, UWB), and secure communications while aligning with cross-functional teams to deliver robust systems. You’ll drive performance improvements and engineering best practices in a mid-senior, technically hands-on capacity. This position offers on-site collaboration at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN with opportunities for growth and impact on global products and technologies. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of scalable software for Linux/Windows and embedded devices * Design low-latency, time-critical network communications over Wi-Fi * Implement short-range wireless tech (Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, UWB) * Apply security best practices including encryption and secure communications * Troubleshoot and optimize software performance and interoperability across hardware/software interfaces * Develop and maintain high-performance, complex C/C++ software for embedded systems * Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams and promote engineering best practices Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field (completed and verified prior to start) * Seven (7) years of full-stack or embedded device software development in private/public/government/military environment Key requirements * competitive pay and benefits * well-being programs * on-site work model with Maplewood, MN location
