Transmission Line Project Engineer (South Central) -Remote

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and execute high-voltage transmission line projects, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound designs and reliable delivery. You’ll provide technical leadership from planning through construction, supporting client relations and project scope management. You will work within WSP’s Power Delivery team to solve complex engineering challenges and uphold safety and quality standards. Compensation / Benefits * Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV * Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules * Facilitate weekly/bi-weekly meetings to coordinate deliverables * Coordinate with clients and maintain cross-disciplinary communication * Forecast resource needs and support QA/QC procedures * Contribute to staff mentorship and knowledge transfer * Lead project teams and travel to client sites or facilities as needed * Demonstrate expertise in PLS-CADD, structure design, foundations, and construction support * Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget development * Participate in industry conferences for professional growth and knowledge transfer Tasks * Bachelor in Engineering * 7-10 years in transmission design/management and team leadership * Professional Engineering (PE) licensure * Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 * Strong command of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD * Excellent written and verbal English communication * Proficiency with Microsoft Office * Commitment to workplace safety and policy compliance Key requirements *
