Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and deliver high-voltage overhead transmission projects within WSP’s Power Delivery team. You will guide planning, design, and execution, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and with clients to ensure technical excellence and safety. You’ll shape project plans, schedules, and scopes for projects up to 765 kV, contributing to growth and knowledge transfer. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused position with opportunities to mentor staff and engage in industry activities. Compensation / Benefits * Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV * Develop and maintain project execution plans and schedules * Lead project meetings and coordinate with clients and internal teams * Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed across projects * Apply and propagate PLS-CADD and other design tools in project work * Coordinate multi-disciplinary work streams and resource planning * Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget development * Engage in business development, client relationships, and staff development * Travel to client sites, offices, and vendor facilities as needed * Contribute to department efficiency, recruitment, and process improvements * Represent WSP at industry conferences and in knowledge transfer activities Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in engineering * 7-10 years of transmission project design/management experience * Professional Engineering (PE) licensure * Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 * Strong transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD proficiency * Excellent written and oral communication in English * Experience with Microsoft Office * Commitment to safety and adherence to policies Key requirements *
