Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you lead and mentor the sustainment of an AWS-centric cloud brokerage for government workloads. You will guide secure computing architecture, cloud governance, and RMF/POA&M activities, while supporting SAFe-led delivery and cross-team collaboration. You’ll work on sophisticated cloud networking, IaC, containerization, and Zero Trust initiatives to enable secure, scalable cloud services. The opportunity combines technical leadership with government-facing impact and continuous process improvement. Compensation / Benefits * Guide Secure Computing Architecture, Cloud Brokerage Services, and Cloud Governance for government workloads * Lead/participate in SAFe-based development of cloud services and workflows * Mentor government personnel and integrate secure development practices * Incorporate RMF, NIST SP 800-37, monitoring, and risk management into cloud projects * Support vulnerability management and POA&M closures * Promote continuous process improvement and team collaboration * Produce architecture decisions and design docs for AWS services within the brokerage, considering IL4/IL5 constraints and cost impact Tasks * Hands-on with IaC: AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform * Hands-on with container orchestration: ECS, EKS * Experience with AWS GovCloud and FEDRAMP High/DoD levels * Strong cloud network design: VPCs, subnetting, routing, cross-account/multi-account setups * DoD architecture/ATO processes, DoDAF, FEAF * DoD Zero Trust and secure SDLC, CI/CD, Git workflows * Excellent customer service and communication with senior government staff * Top Secret clearance eligibility or equivalent * Minimum 5+ years in enterprise cloud environments and DoD-related frameworks Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company matching * tax-deferred savings options * paid time off * supplementary benefits * professional development opportunities
