Senior Applications Engineer - Emulation

Experteer Overview As a Senior Applications Engineer - Emulation, you drive successful design bring-up using emulation hardware and software at customer sites. You work with cross-functional teams to refine prototyping methodologies and enable customers to maximize value from the solution. You support pre-sales activities, educate customers on best practices, and relay customer needs to R&D and marketing. This role blends hands-on technical execution with customer enablement and strategic feedback to improve the product. The opportunity combines technical leadership with global customer engagement in a hybrid work environment. Compensation / Benefits * Deploy emulation software/hardware at customer sites and guide design bring-up * Develop and refine prototyping methodologies to maximize solution value * Support pre-sales engagements with technical sales teams and ensure successful deployments * Collaborate with R&D to implement tool improvements and resolve issues * Train application engineers and customers on the solution and evolve methodologies * Keep customers informed about enhancements and relay requirements to RD and marketing Tasks * 4+ years in design, verification, simulation, emulation or prototyping of electronics * BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas * Experience with emulation platforms (Veloce, Palladium, Zebu) preferred * RTL design with SystemVerilog, Verilog and/or VHDL; verification with SystemVerilog/SystemC/C++ * ASIC and/or FPGA implementation experience a plus * RTL debugging and scripting in Perl, Python, shell, Makefiles, XML, JSON * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; travel ability * Ability to create and deliver live/remote product demos and presentations Key requirements * hybrid work model * health and wellness benefits * competitive compensation with incentive * global career opportunities * diversity and inclusion * world leader in industrial software
