Senior Applications Engineer - Emulation

Experteer Overview In this role you will deploy emulation solutions at customer sites and guide design bring-up, shaping how customers realize value from Siemens EDA’s emulation tools. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine prototyping methodologies and support pre-sales efforts with hands-on demonstrations. You’ll work closely with R&D to drive tool improvements and train engineers and customers, ensuring ongoing maximum value. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position that blends technical depth with strategic impact. Compensation / Benefits * Deploy emulation software and hardware at customer sites to enable design bring-up * Develop and refine methodologies for prototyping to maximize solution value * Support pre-sales engagements with technical sales teams and educate customers on best practices * Collaborate with R&D to implement tool improvements and address design/verification needs * Train application engineers and customers; evolve methodologies to leverage capabilities * Inform customers about enhancements and relay requirements to R&D and marketing Tasks * 4+ years in design, verification, simulation, emulation or prototyping of electronics chips and systems * BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas * Experience with an Emulation platform (preferred: Veloce, Palladium, Zebu) * RTL design in SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL * Verification experience with SystemVerilog, SystemC and/or C/C++ * ASIC/FPGA implementation experience a plus * RTL debugging and RTL design troubleshooting * Proficient in scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell, XML, JSON) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver demos/presentations * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Key requirements * health and wellness benefits * flexible hybrid work mode * competitive pay with target incentive * global team environment * career growth opportunities * diversity and inclusion
