Senior Applications Engineer - Emulation

Experteer Overview In this role you will deploy emulation solutions at customer sites and drive successful design bring-up. You collaborate with pre-sales and R&D to maximize prototype value and heighten product adoption. You’ll train AEs and customers while evolving methodologies to extend solution capabilities. You help shape product improvements and ensure customers stay aligned with latest enhancements. This is a hybrid, global-facing role with meaningful impact on advancing semiconductor design practices. Compensation / Benefits * Deploy emulation software and hardware at customer sites and guide design bring-up * Develop and refine prototyping methodologies to maximize value * Support pre-sales engagements and educate customers on best practices and tool requirements * Collaborate with R&D to implement tool improvements and address product specifications * Train application engineers and customers; evolve methodologies to maximize value * Keep customers informed about enhancements and relay requirements to R&D and marketing Tasks * 4+ years in design, verification, simulation, emulation or prototyping of electronics chips and systems * BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas * Experience with an emulation platform (preferred: Veloce, Palladium, Zebu) * RTL design with SystemVerilog, Verilog and/or VHDL * Verification experience with SystemVerilog, SystemC and/or C/C++ * ASIC and/or FPGA implementation experience a plus * RTL debugging and simulation * Scripting: Perl, Python, shell/Makefiles, XML, JSON * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to travel domestically and internationally * Ability to create/deliver product demos and presentations Key requirements * health and wellness benefits * hybrid work model * great benefits and rewards
