Job description
Experteer Overview Lead Engineer in KPMG’s Digital Nexus team, shaping the network security platform and roadmap to align with industry best practices. You will integrate Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto into a cohesive security ecosystem, guiding architecture and delivering secure, scalable solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery and provide last-tier support. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic input to advance KPMG’s security posture and cloud integration. You’ll be part of a collaborative, performance-driven culture focused on real client impact. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and refine technology architecture roadmaps and action plans for security platforms * Assess current network security architecture and implement improvements aligned with standards * Guide product development processes, ensure performance and budget targets are met * Provide last-tier operations support including root cause and preventative analysis * Design system configurations and enforce standards; assist in system installation * Mentor and train Network team members and share expertise * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of security technologies Tasks * 5+ years of experience with web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access/SaaS security * Hands-on experience in GCP engineering (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple projects and mentor teams * Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * 401(k) plans * disability and life insurance * well-being benefits
