IT Manager (Korean/English Bilingual - required) Torrance, CA 4 days onsite / 1 day remote Full-time About the Opportunity A growing global water technology organization is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee business technology operations, infrastructure, security, cloud platforms, and end-user support. This role is ideal for an IT leader who can balance strategic project ownership with day-to-day technical execution while partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. Position Overview The IT Manager will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, supporting cloud-based solutions, optimizing network and software environments, and driving technology projects that improve operational efficiency. This position requires strong communication skills, practical troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support IT infrastructure, including network administration, server environments, hardware, software, and business systems.
  • Oversee cybersecurity protocols, IT security systems, access controls, disaster recovery planning, and related risk-mitigation efforts.
  • Administer, manage, and optimize cloud-based platforms and enterprise software tools used across the business.
  • Lead IT projects from planning through execution, working with internal teams and outside vendors as needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement practical long-term solutions.
  • Maintain reliable network and software performance to support business continuity and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership and internal departments to understand technology needs and recommend improvements.
  • Develop, document, and improve IT processes, standards, procedures, and support practices.
  • Serve as a bilingual Korean/English communicator for leadership, stakeholders, and business users as needed.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in Korean and English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • Strong experience managing IT infrastructure, including network administration and server management.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, IT security systems, access controls, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience managing cloud-based platforms and enterprise software systems.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in water technology, environmental services, manufacturing, industrial, municipal, or commercial service environments.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or related IT/security certifications.
  • Experience working in a global organization or supporting international stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in a hands-on environment where the IT Manager owns both strategy and execution.
