SAP Technical Lead (Basis)

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive SAP Basis and technical architecture across diverse projects, enabling successful upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformations for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with the client’s business goals. You will also contribute to pre-sales, estimates, and solution accelerators to improve delivery efficiency. Compensation / Benefits * Troubleshoot and lead resolution of technical issues * Generate estimates for cost, skills, resources, and timelines * Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Support pre-sales and solutioning work * Create and manage SOWs * Contribute to SAP upgrades, platform/OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, Unicode conversions, system installations and copies * Develop solutions/tools/accelerators to meet industry/functional requirements * Apply SAP methodologies and ITIL standards * Perform hardware sizing analysis (servers, storage, network) * Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams * Maintain a strong focus on customer service and quality Tasks * 6+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience * 6+ years solution architecture experience across a broad tech base * 5+ years leading geographically dispersed teams * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Experience generating estimates for projects * Experience with SAP version upgrades, platform/OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions, Unicode conversions * Ability to discuss complex concepts in layman terms to gain agreement on designs * Experience with creation and management of SOWs * Understanding of hardware sizing and IT infrastructure * Pre-sales support and other solutioning experience Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package starting from first day
