Cyber Palo Alto Networks Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role you help modernize network security via cloud-delivered zero trust architectures, focusing on Palo Alto Networks technologies to secure complex enterprise environments. You work within the Deloitte Cyber Enterprise Security team to design, deploy, and optimize security solutions that balance on-premises and cloud ecosystems, driving secure transformation for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient security postures and improved user experiences, with a focus on scalable, automation-friendly implementations. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks NGFW across on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Implement and optimize Prisma Access capabilities (GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser) * Administer Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager for centralized policy management and visibility * Configure and tune Threat Prevention, IPS/IDS, Anti-Spyware, Antivirus, WildFire, DNS Security, SSL/TLS decryption policies * Develop client designs and recommendations, integrating Palo Alto platforms with SIEM/SOAR and identity tooling; support automation via Terraform, Ansible, or Python Tasks * BA/BS degree in a technical field * PCNSE certification * 5+ years in network security with Palo Alto technologies * 5+ years designing/deploying/managing Palo Alto NGFW (on-prem and cloud) * 3+ years Prisma Access design/deployment, including GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser * 3+ years Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager experience * 3+ years SSL/TLS decryption policy implementation * 3+ years security policy lifecycle management * 3+ years working with one or more major cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and native security tools * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * accommodations for people with disabilities * career development and mentorship opportunities
