Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will guide clients on data protection and encryption strategy, lead PKI and certificate lifecycle initiatives, and shape secure architectures across cloud and on-prem environments. You work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, on-budget cyber transformations aligned to regulatory and risk requirements. You’ll stay ahead of encryption tech trends, evaluate new tools, and drive governance and program scope. This is a client-facing, leadership-heavy role with a focus on strategy and practical deployment. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, key management, and PKI strategies across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions including certificate lifecycle management and infrastructure monitoring * Drive day-to-day engagement execution, communicating updates and tracking timelines for on-time delivery * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and recommend tools to strengthen data security Tasks * 7+ years in data protection and information security (including Data Discovery, Classification, Rights Management, DLP, Cloud Security, Encryption, CLM, etc.) * 7+ years with PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading CLM strategy and implementation using AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert, or similar * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycle, key management, HSM, and crypto policy enforcement * Hands-on understanding of certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, and app servers * Experience leading discovery, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring programs * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation * Ability to lead technical workstreams and manage on/offshore teams * Experience translating requirements into architecture blueprints and implementation plans * Understanding of delivery governance, risk management, dependencies, and QA for enterprise security transformations * Willingness to travel 25-50% Key requirements *
