Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will guide clients on data protection and encryption strategy, acting as a trusted advisor to design and implement PKI and data security solutions. You will lead engagements, coordinate delivery teams, and stay ahead of encryption trends to strengthen client cyber postures. The role sits within Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, helping organizations align security programs with strategic objectives and risk appetite. You will work across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments to reduce data risk and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as subject matter expert and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, secure key management, and PKI strategies across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions including certificate lifecycle management and infrastructure monitoring * Drive day-to-day engagement execution, communicating progress to clients and Deloitte leadership * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and evaluate tools to strengthen data security Tasks * 7+ years in data protection and information security domains (Data Discovery, Data Classification and Rights Management, Data Access Governance, Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Security, Encryption, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Cloud/SaaS Security) * 7+ years with PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading CLM strategy, design, and implementation using AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert, or similar * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycle, key management, HSM integration, crypto policy enforcement * Ability to define target-state architecture and operating models for large-scale environments * Hands-on experience with certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, and servers * Experience leading discovery, inventory rationalization, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, roadmap alignment, and decision support * Ability to lead technical workstreams and manage offshore/onshore teams * Experience translating business, operational, and security requirements into architecture and implementation plans * Understanding of delivery governance, risk management, dependencies, and QA for enterprise security transformations * Willingness to travel 25-50% Key requirements *
