Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview As a Manager in Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy & Transformation, you help clients strengthen data protection and encryption programs. You’ll act as a trusted advisor on PKI, encryption, and key management across hybrid environments. You will design and operate solutions reducing data risk, from certificate management to deployment. You’ll lead engagements, communicate with clients and leadership, and stay ahead of encryption trends to propose effective tools. This role offers meaningful impact at scale within a collaborative, delivery-focused team. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, secure key management, and PKI strategies across cloud/on-premises/hybrid environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions (certificate lifecycle management, infrastructure monitoring, deployment) * Drive day-to-day engagement execution, communicate updates, support delivery teams, track timelines for on-time/on-budget delivery * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and evaluate/tools to strengthen data security Tasks * 7+ years in data protection and information security (data discovery, data classification, rights management, DLP, CASB, encryption, certificate lifecycle, cloud security, SaaS) * 7+ years PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading certificate lifecycle management strategy using AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert or similar * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycles, key management, HSM integration, crypto policy enforcement * Ability to define target-state architecture, integration patterns, operating models for large-scale environments * Hands-on understanding of certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, web/app servers, network/security * Experience leading discovery, inventory rationalization, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring programs * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, roadmap alignment * Ability to lead technical workstreams, architects, engineers, and offshore/onshore teams * Experience translating business, operational, and security requirements into architecture blueprints and implementation plans * Strong delivery governance, risk management, dependencies, and QA for enterprise security transformations * Ability to travel 25-50% Key requirements *
