Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Security Consultant on Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team, you help secure Azure-based solutions amid a dynamic threat landscape. You will work with clients to assess security needs, design resilient cloud architectures, and guide remediation actions to enable secure digital transformation. The role combines hands-on Azure security work with governance, AI protections, and data security to deliver trusted cloud outcomes. This is a client-facing, impact-focused position that values collaboration and clear guidance to clients and teams. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, platform as a service security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments * Work directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments * 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments * 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Ability to travel up to 50% * Accommodation for disabilities * Professional development and certifications support * Collaborative, inclusive culture * Opportunities for mentorship and career growth
