Cloud Security Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you help secure client Azure environments by delivering cloud security engagements across governance, identity, and AI security. You’ll work within Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team to assess risks, design secure architectures, and guide remediation. You’ll develop deliverables and contribute to practice development while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams. This position offers impact on digital transformations and exposure to leading Azure security technologies and services. Compensation / Benefits * Deliver Azure cloud security engagements across governance, identity, application security, platform and infrastructure security, AI security, monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Conduct cloud security assessments, architecture design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Engage directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and propose cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Produce project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, and compliance documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, and practice development for Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, or cloud security in Azure environments * 2+ years of hands-on cloud security solution design across public, private, or hybrid clouds * 2+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 2+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 2+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with Azure security for Microsoft Azure including AI services controls (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disabilities * potential for travel and flexible project work * opportunities for professional development and certifications
