Senior Network Engineer (Route & Switch)

Experteer Overview In this role you will support Deloitte’s Technology & Infrastructure team by delivering reliable server and network services. You will work with senior engineers to design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure that enables production systems and client services. You will monitor backups, upgrades, and incident responses, ensuring high availability in a fast-paced environment. This position offers exposure to hospitality-focused tech at Deloitte University, with opportunities to lead projects and collaborate across IT teams. Compensation / Benefits * Administer, configure, monitor, and test application servers supporting business and network operations * Provide recommendations for new technology solutions and improvements * Collaborate with senior engineers to implement applications and technology solutions * Monitor backups, upgrades, and patches for data and application servers * Respond to and resolve production-impacting issues * Engage with internal or external clients as needed * Support network and infrastructure-related services (LAN/WAN/WLAN) and incident management * Contribute to documentation such as network diagrams and rack elevations * Oversee structured cabling coordination with contractors and vendors Tasks * 8+ years in IT infrastructure network environments and/or 6 years with advanced degree * Design and implement network infrastructure (Cisco switches, routers, wireless) * Site surveys and end-to-end performance validation * Documentation of network diagrams, IP allocations, and equipment inventory * Structured cabling oversight and coordination with vendors * 2+ years of troubleshooting experience * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship * Ability to travel 0-10% Key requirements *
