Delivery Consultant, Data Engineering and Gen AI Conversion Solutions

Experteer Overview As a Consultant in Deloitte’s GPS AI & Data team, you will design, build, and operate data engineering and AI-driven solutions for government clients. You’ll work on data migration, integration, and validation to modernize platforms and scale capabilities within the US Delivery Center model. You will shape AI opportunities, define strategy with leadership, and prioritize ML-enabled features to support client processes. This role combines hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration to deliver mission-driven outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and maintain AI-based systems with engaging user experiences * Participate in NLP activities, including refining prompts for LLMs and code/design reviews * Develop and promote coding and data standards across the community * Collaborate with leadership to identify AI opportunities and shape strategy * Build and prioritize backlog for future machine-learning enabled features to support client processes Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field * 3+ years of Python or R programming with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras * 3+ years of NLP and LLM experience, including GenAI technologies (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) * 1+ years understanding of supervised and unsupervised ML * Proven experience with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Proven experience with big data technologies and web/UI stacks (Angular, React, NodeJS, C#, .NET, Java, Golang, SQL) * Ability to travel ~10% * Experience with Agile delivery (preferred) * Government or public sector data program experience (preferred) * Master’s degree (preferred) Key requirements *
